The Organization
Future4Children was established in 2007 in order to provide education and care for some of the most disadvantaged children in the world. Recognized and approved by the Swiss government as a tax deductible charity organization, we remain committed to our goal of making a meaningful difference in the lives of those in needs.
Future4Children believes that society has the potential to provide satisfying lives for all human beings regardless of gender, race, religion, nationality and/or identity.
Future4Children firmly believes that the challenges hindering individuals from leading to fulfilling and satisfying lives are a product of societal issues, and it is through education that these problems can be effectively addressed and overcome,
What We Do
Although education is the most vital solution to most of our present global problems, about 264 million children are out of school in the world today. A disproportionate number of out-of-school children live in countries that are characterized by instability and/or extreme poverty.
The focus of Future4Children is to increase the number of children in school and to help them overcome the barriers that prevent them from attending, staying and completing basic education.
Future4Children has financed, started and run schools, orphanages and projects with the aim to educate and take care of poor and out-of-school children around the world.
The Founder
Childhood Spark
My journey began in Trondheim, Norway, where I developed a deep love for books and a dream to explore far beyond. At 17, I attended the United World College in Canada, which ignited a desire to create positive impact. Subsequently, I pursued economics in London, earned an MBA in France and began a career across Europe.
Overcoming Darkness
During my pregnancy, a severe eye illness threatened to rob me of my eyesight casting me into my darkest moment. I made a promise to myself: if my sight returned, I would dedicate my life to creating positive change. Miraculously, it did! The synchronicity was extraordinary when I joined the organisation “World Vision”. I worked on and visiting various projects in around the world. After 5 years, my purpose emerged: child education as a global solution.
From Vision to Mission
Future4Children was born, and it was a labor of love. We established schools and orphanages in Moldova, China, Bolivia and the Dominican Republic. Soon afterwards we added projects regarding domestic safety, poverty alleviation, food security, and female empowerment.
